Staney Lochridge, M.D.
Stanley Lochridge, M.D. attended the University of Alabama where he received his undergraduate degree and went on to attend its School of Medicine. Dr. Lochridge completed his General Surgical internship and residency at Carraway Methodist Medical Center. He then completed his Thoracic and Cardiovascular surgical training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Returning to Birmingham, Dr. Lochridge joined Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons, P.C. in 1978. He was board certified by The American Board of Surgery in 1977 and The American Board of Thoracic Surgery in 1979. Dr. Lochridge is a retired Major for the Medical Corps with the U.S. Army and Alabama National Guard where he served with the 109th Evacuation Hospital.
